Chair and bench in natural caning. Caning is a natural material, flexible and light, made from a liana palm tree from which rattan canes are made. With a tight spacing, the braids offer impressive resistance. IMPORTANT : the woven back of this chair is in natural rattan (from a liana palm), a supple, light and fibrous material which is nonetheless susceptible to snagging and variations in temperature or humidity. Such conditions can alter its elasticity over time, giving it a frayed appearance. Black stained ash base, satin finish, seat in natural caning, felt pads.
