Designed in 1954 by Pierre Guariche for Steiner, the Papyrus chair is one of the 5 chairs that changed the destiny of Steiner at the beginning of the 1950s. Its thin seat with its unique curve suggests the technical possibilities of thermoformed plywood. A silhouette, a round and sensual shell, resting on a metal base. Please note that the armrests remain in solid beech, even on the upholstered version. All chairs and carver chairs are equipped with wrap-around tips under the feet.
