Oxydation Low table oxidised brass

This collection of tables draws inspiration from contemporary architecture, sculpture and research into the materials used, in particular the natural properties of oxidization. It is thus a case of combining 'sustainable' materials such as stone or metal and making them into an architectural shape. The Oxydation tables combine a simple shape with a complicated texture and are a mix of traditional techniques and highly advanced technologies. As it oxidizes, metal can bring some unexpected results: each table is naturally unique and one will certainly discover a myriad of variations in its oxidized top. Top and base in oxidised (acid-treated) steel, finished with transparent varnish. Table basse, base acier laqué noir satiné, plateau oxydé laiton doré, vernis transparent.
